Abstract:

The research regards reshoring of business services. In particular, researchers through an empirical analysis posit that the reshoring decision can be motivited by emerging troubles with a previous offshoring, as well as a step further after offshoring as motivation could be to persist with originial offshoring aims (as accessing new markets or cost-saving). One more interesting result from the research posit that pitfalls in accessing new markets motivate firms to relocate again, while unsatisfactory performance of activities offshored for efficiency reasons do not necessarily motivate firms to relocate elsewhere.
