Case narrative:

BerryAlloc is an international flooring solutions company headquartered in Lyngdal (Norway). BerryAlloc is part of the Beaulieu International Group, a renowned international group headquartered in Belgium. BerryAlloc is the new brand in floor and wall covering, which replaces the former brand Berry Floor, Berry Wood and the Alloc. BerryAlloc stopped purchasing aluminum products from Chinese suppliers, instead, the company started to purchase aluminum products from Norwegian supplier Sapa. Sapa has signed an agreement with the BerryAlloc for the delivery of aluminum skirting from its extrusion plant in Magnor (Norway). “I find it is exciting that automation and the smart use of technology can make the company profitable, due also to the closer distance to our customers and business operations,” said general manager John Vonli of BerryAlloc. “This is a good example of modern Norwegian industrial cooperation.”
