eDreams ODIGEO is a Spanish company and one of the world’s largest online travel companies. The company was founded in 2000 and now it has five leading brands: Opodo, eDreams, Go Voyages, Travellink, and Liligo. In September 2016, the group of eDreams ODIGEO announced that it will move the headquarters of its Nordic operations under the brand Travelink from Stockholm (Denmark) to Barcelona (Spain).This decision aims to strengthen the brand image and improve customer satisfaction, but also increase competitiveness of the company. It is also reported that the company plans to outsource its customer service department in the Nordic countries, with an aim to transfer employees to the new company. In fact, the gross bookings in the Nordic countries and UK had decreased to EUR 393.10 million (USD 420.53 million) in June 2016, down from EUR 415.5 million that was registered a year earlier.
