Case narrative:

Jallatte is a French company producing safety shoes. It was established in 1947 as an independent company; since 2013 it entered the Italian group U-Invest. Since the 2007, the company offshored all production activities in Tunisia. However, in 2018 it decided to relocate the high end product lines in its historical site in Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort (France). To reach such a strategic objective, the company invested around 150.000 euro in the plant; production started in June 2018. The main reason for relocation decision was the availability of production capacity at home, and the willingness to maintain the employees enrolled in the site.
