The Finnish company Sartorius Biohit Liquid Handling is part of the German group Sartorius, that produces laboratory equipment. The company decided to interrupt the Chinese production of electronic pipettes and new mechanical products. The plant in China will be reorganised as a maintenance and distribution center. The production activity will be relocated in the Finnish plant in Kajaani starting from spring 2018. Around 20 new jobs will be created in Finland by the end of 2018.
